On April 17, in St. Petersburg , employees of the territorial Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR issued EXPORT documents for two batches of frozen chicken weighing about 26 tons, bound for Liberia.

The supplier of the cargo, which was heading to the address of the enterprise from Monrovia, the capital of this African state, was a poultry farm from the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region.

Inspectors of the Office confirmed the compliance of the MEAT with the veterinary requirements of the recipient country, after which it was allowed for further processing.

Since the beginning of 2021, more than 1.5 thousand tons of meat products have passed the control of the officials of the Department, which were exported to African countries: Angola, Benin, Gabon, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Senegal and Togo.
