According to Deputy Minister Vladimir Shagoiko, there is an increase in EXPORT deliveries of products with a high margin and added value - these are sausages and canned goods . According to him, in 2021 the share of such products was about 17%, then by the end of 2022 it is already 20%, in 20203 the share of such products was already increased to 23%.

The situation in the MEAT industry in Belarus is developing in such a way that meat processing plants produce much more products than they consume domestically, while agricultural enterprises plan to further expand production capacities to increase foreign exchange earnings. Today, meat products are exported to more than 20 countries, and the main consumers are CHINA and RUSSIA .

Invited speaker of the forum "Belarus Meat" from the Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems. Gorbatova (Center) recommended that exporters of meat and meat products from Belarus planning to expand exports to Russia take into account the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union ( EAEU ) and the list of standards attached to it.

“Between Russia and Belarus, like all EAEU member states, customs control has been abolished. However, meat processing enterprises from Belarus should remember that slaughter products and meat products put into circulation on the territory of the EAEU must comply with the requirements of TR CU 034/2013 "On the safety of meat and meat products", as well as other technical regulations that apply to them. ”, — comments the expert on technical regulation of the Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems. Gorbatova Julia Kuzlyakina.

According to the expert, enterprises should also familiarize themselves with the draft state standards, which are currently being developed by the Technical Committee for Standardization "Meat and Meat Products" (TK 226) on the basis of the Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems named after. Gorbatov. In 2023, the committee plans to approve several interstate standards.

As the expert adds, in the future, part of the interstate standards is planned to be included in the lists to the technical regulation 034/2013. Draft standards being developed by TC 226 and scheduled for consideration by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) are published on the page of the technical committee (TC 226).

Lists of standards are prepared on the basis of proposals from the EAEU member states in accordance with the Procedure for the development and adoption of lists of international and regional (interstate) standards, approved by the Decision of the Council of the Commission dated October 18, 2016 No. 161. In order to fulfill the requirements of the technical regulation, the EAEU approves lists of international, interstate or national standards, the application of which, on a voluntary basis, ensures compliance with the requirements of the regulation. At the same time, it was established that the application of the standards included in the list on a voluntary basis is a sufficient condition for compliance with the requirements of the relevant technical regulation.
