850 projects will receive state support within Agrostartup

Agrostartup is a program to support start-up entrepreneurs in the agro-industrial complex, the Ministry of Agriculture reports. Within the framework of the project, it is possible to receive a grant of up to 5 million for any agricultural project and up to 7 million rubles for a project related to the breeding of cattle. In the message of the Ministry of Agriculture, it is specified that the government allocated 3 billion rubles for the payment of grants, and the department expects to support at least 850 projects.

Recall that the grant funds can be used to purchase a land plot, farm animals, birds, seedlings, fish - everything that is necessary to start agricultural production, to build and repair premises, connect communications, and even to pay off a loan debt (up to 20% of the project cost). ). The government allows the grant to cover up to 90% of the cost of the project.

To receive a grant, you need to meet a number of conditions - for example, an enterprise must be registered in a rural area, it must create a certain number of jobs depending on the size of the grant, and it must also be created no earlier than a year before applying for a grant or no more than 30 days after receiving the grant. The grant is awarded on a competitive basis.

The Ministry of Agriculture notes that the acceptance of applications has already started in a third of the regions. Some regions have summed up the results of the competition - twenty enterprises from Smolensk, Tambov, Kirov and other regions will receive a government grant for their projects in rural areas.
