The volume of MILK produced decreased slightly - by 0.3%, to 57.2 thousand tons.
In January - June, in the agricultural organizations of the region, the largest share in the production of MEAT (cattle and poultry for slaughter in live weight) accounted for pigs - 67% (in 2021 - 53%). The share of cattle decreased by 13 percentage points over the year (from 32% in 2021 to 19% in 2022), poultry — by 1 percentage point (from 15 to 14%).
On average, 3,250 kg of milk is produced from one cow in agricultural organizations, which is 3% higher than last year.
As of July 1, in the agricultural organizations of the region, the herd of cattle amounted to 121.2 thousand heads, including 33.5 thousand cows, pigs - 1,035.7 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 3.0 thousand. heads, birds - 1,918.2 thousand heads. In connection with the opening of new pig-breeding complexes of Miratorg-Kursk LLC in the region, the herd of pigs increased by 40% over the year, the number of poultry increased by 7%.
