The group of authors includes five researchers from a specialized unit of the Omsk ASC, headed by DOCTOR of Biological Sciences V.S. Vlasenko.

“The development is intended for an affordable, fast and highly effective method of reproducing the infection of the bovine leukemia virus in the body of guinea pigs,” commented Vasily Sergeevich. “The purpose of the invention is to study preventive and therapeutic agents from various chemical compounds that have specific antiviral activity, as well as biologically active substances and immunomodulators aimed at combating the bovine leukemia virus.”

Of course, the new invention will be useful in the fight against leukemia in the Omsk region and other regions. Let us recall that the veterinary department of the Omsk ANC provides assistance to farms not only in Siberia, but also in the Stavropol Territory, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Novy Urengoy, and also the Republic of Kazakhstan . Livestock farmers receive timely recommendations and prompt assistance in the fight against dangerous infections.
