26 tons of Rostov duck will arrive in the UAE

The Rostov region exported more than 26 tons of duck MEAT to the United Arab Emirates, the regional department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR reported .

The department noted that the products are recognized as safe in veterinary and sanitary terms and fully comply with the requirements of importing countries. Its quality and safety have been confirmed by the results of laboratory tests.

A permit for the EXPORT of meat products was issued at the Millerovsky veterinary clearance point.

This spring, RUSSIA received the right to export venison to the United Arab Emirates. A veterinary certificate for the supply of venison has been agreed with the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

Russia and the United Arab Emirates have previously completed the coordination of part of the veterinary certificates, including those for poultry meat and table eggs . Supplies of agricultural products from Russia can be expanded.

Earlier, the Rosselkhoznadzor noted that the UAE could become a platform through which Russian agricultural products will enter the markets of other Gulf countries. The domestic market of the United Arab Emirates has great potential for the products of the Russian agro-industrial complex (AIC).

In February, the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai discussed ways to support the export of fish and seafood, including the organization and regulation of supplies, especially the possibility of expedited issuance of certificates for the catch of Russian fish products.

Arab countries can open a new direction for Russia for deliveries. The department expects a significant increase in exports in this direction in the next four years.
