First case of PRRS reported in Nepal

On 26 April, Nepal reported the first case of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus infection to the OIE.

The outbreak began on February 25 on a commercial farm with 356 pigs. At the moment, the source of infection has not been identified.
