For 5 months of 2023, the Department in the Republic of Mordovia took 502 samples of livestock products ( MEAT and offal, dairy and meat products , eggs , fish). Samples were sent for laboratory testing to the federal state budgetary institution "Federal Center for Animal Health", the federal state budgetary institution "All-Russian State Center for the Quality and Standardization of Medicines for Animals and Feed".
Including quality control was carried out in 23 socially significant institutions of the Republic of Mordovia (kindergartens, schools, hospitals, boarding schools), while 66 samples of livestock products were selected. In 6 samples from the total number of samples taken, discrepancies were found in terms of quality and safety (6% of the number of samples examined). Signs of falsification of dairy products with vegetable fats and the presence of preservatives in them, the presence of residual amounts of drugs used by poultry and animals, in chicken eggs and sausages were found. Manufacturers who sent their products to socially significant institutions with deviations in quality and safety are located on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Republic of Mordovia.
Along with this, on the territory of other constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the facts of detection of discrepancies in terms of quality and safety of products developed by manufacturers of the Republic of Mordovia were established.
For all the facts of discrepancy detection in terms of product quality and safety, the Department brought to administrative responsibility 10 manufacturers of unsafe food products, including those who supplied their products to socially significant institutions of the Republic of Mordovia, 3 manufacturers were brought to administrative responsibility repeatedly.
1.9 tons of unsafe food products removed from sale during inspections were disposed of as animal feed, which is 23% of the unsafe food products disposed of in 2022.
The Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region sent information to manufacturers and owners of unsafe food products, to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia, the Commission for Combating Illegal Circulation of Industrial Products in the Republic of Mordovia, as well as to the territorial departments of the Rosselkhoznadzor, on whose territory low-quality food products were produced. products.
