In 2019, the owner of the enterprise moved from Nizhnevartovsk to the village of Pyankovo in order to establish a peasant farm at his own expense. To begin with, he built a covered barn, purchased 91 heads of cattle , the necessary equipment and introduced 430 hectares of land into agricultural circulation.
The new farm is organized according to the feedlot principle. The feedlot contains 300 breeding bulls and heifers of the Hereford breed, grown in the Tyumen and Tomsk regions, which do not need insulated rooms.
To expand the economy, Kopylov received a subsidy for the purchase of young animals and compensation for the first installment on leasing. He won a grant under the family farm development program in the amount of 24.4 million rubles, and in the future he plans to increase the breeding stock to 1.5 thousand by building three more farms and hire qualified specialists in beef cattle breeding.
