A new livestock farm was opened in the Kortkerossky district of Komi

Nadezhda Dorofeeva, Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Komi on Social Policy, Nadezhda Usova, HEAD of the Komi Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market, Konstantin Sazhin, Head of the Kortkeros District, took part in the opening of the farm.

Thanks to municipal support, the cooperative was able to purchase the building of a livestock farm for two hundred heads in the village of Madzha. The farm building went to Miyan from the former owners. The building has solid brick walls, the new owners repaired the roof on their own, built pens, feeders, bought cattle.

Today, there are already 70 heads of beef cattle on the farm.

“The effect of state support is visible only where the local authorities are interested in the village living and developing. The opening of new production facilities in small villages indicates that the dialogue between local authorities and business has been built, the head of the municipality sees prospects, builds strategic plans for the development of the village and the region, and takes concrete actions. it is such a leader that the population trusts, is ready to help and move forward,” Nadezhda Usova noted.

On March 19, SPK "Miyan" celebrated its second anniversary since its inception. To date, the cooperative unites 8 agricultural producers, most of which are citizens of the Kortkeros region, leading personal subsidiary plots. The young cooperative has only two employees so far, but given the planned increase in production volumes, the cooperative will be able to become a worthy employer.

“There is a lot of work, even more plans. Thanks to the municipality, we have a farm, and state support has been used to purchase equipment. We are moving forward. We plan to purchase our own slaughterhouse and organize MEAT processing. I am very glad that the first landmark event in the history of our cooperative is being held in the circle of close people. They supported me and believed that everything would work out. And when they hear and understand you, they move in the same direction with you, you go to work with pleasure, because you know that the result will definitely be, ”said Galina Tarasevich, chairman of the cooperative.
