In Kaliningrad Region, the Head of a Pig-Breeding Farm has been Charged with Violating Veterinary Rules

In June 2022, in the village of Dmitrievka, Nesterovsky district, on the territory of the peasant farm Kozlov D.M., which carries out activities for the production and movement of live pigs, fresh, chilled or frozen pork, at least 66 pigs died.

Concealment of the incident resulted in damages to individuals and the state totaling over 2.5 million rubles.

ROSSELKHOZNADZOR informs representatives of pig farms about the need for mandatory compliance with veterinary requirements.

Violation of veterinary rules not only by large manufacturing enterprises, but also by heads of peasant farms and private subsidiary farms can lead to the spread of epizootics throughout the country, serious consequences for the state as a whole, as well as financial losses on a large scale.
