In the Irkutsk region, the company supplied low-quality products to schools and kindergartens

The samples were sent to the Irkutsk MVL for laboratory research. An antibiotic, enrofloxacin, was found in meatballs, meatballs and beef cutlets. The manufacturer of semi-finished products is LLC Vkusnodel (Sayansk), the supplier of raw materials is LLC Katana (Irkutsk).

In order to prevent the circulation of low-quality and dangerous products, the validity of the declaration of conformity was suspended. The management sent information letters to the manufacturer and product owners about taking the necessary measures to prevent possible harm. The manufacturer was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.

The requirements of the supervisory authority were fulfilled by the manufacturer: the raw materials and products were re- examined , which did not reveal the antibiotic. The validity of the declaration of conformity has been renewed.

Since the beginning of 2023, state inspectors of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office have invalidated 16 declarations of conformity for products controlled by veterinary supervision.
