Livestock and poultry production increased in the Ingush agro-industrial complex

The number of cattle in the republic, according to statistics, is 70.4 thousand animals, and birds - about 457 thousand. The production of eggs also increased - by more than four percent, in total, almost nine thousand eggs were produced.

The total volume of grown products of agricultural enterprises in the region remained at the level of last year, in monetary terms it is 4 billion 642 million rubles.

According to the HEAD of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, the growth of indicators in agriculture is very important for the republic as a whole. The region invests both public and private investments in the agro-industrial complex .

"This allows us to improve the quality of life of our residents and increase the economic potential of Ingushetia as a whole. The development of agriculture is one of the priorities of the authorities," Kalimatov explained.

Last year, the volume of agricultural output in Ingushetia amounted to 19.5 billion rubles, which is 9.3 percent more than in 2021. In terms of growth dynamics of agricultural production, the region ranks first in the North Caucasus Federal District. Ingushetia mainly produces MEAT , MILK , eggs , cereals, sunflowers, potatoes and vegetables. In 2022, compared to the previous year, their production increased from 6.6 to 28 percent, depending on the specific type of product.
