In the Chuvash Republic revealed violations in the sale of live ducklings

During the on-site survey, a violation of the mandatory requirements of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation was found, namely, the sale of ducklings without veterinary accompanying documents characterizing the territorial and species origin, epizootic well-being of the territory and allowing identification of the controlled product (live poultry), which carries the threat of the spread of avian influenza and other especially dangerous diseases.

An individual entrepreneur was issued requirements to eliminate violations of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation.

We remind you that in order to prevent the introduction and spread of the avian influenza virus, it is necessary to:

- do not allow walking poultry outside the yard area, exclude contact of poultry with wild birds, especially waterfowl;

- carry out the sale and purchase of domestic and ornamental birds only in places of authorized trade and only in the presence of accompanying veterinary documents.
