In the branch of the Europe store in Gubkin, MEAT was found without accompanying veterinary documents. This was reported in the interregional department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR .

An employee of the department found boxes, presumably with unlabeled pork, in the refrigerating chamber of Europa-18. The only thing that was indicated on the box was that the products came from the Velikoluksky Meat Processing Plant and “2% bonuses for October Europe-18”.

According to the invoice dated November 5, 2021, the meat was received from the plant on November 6. When analyzing the documentation, it turned out that there were no veterinary accompanying documents (VSD) for the products. The information was sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Pskov region.

In addition, the employees of the regional administration revealed a number of other violations of the safety of meat products in the supermarket. Thus, the company did not test its own meat for antibiotics and toxic elements.

The store also does not have a procedure for traceability of manufactured products for the types, origin and quantity of raw materials used for each batch of meat. For violations against "Europe" opened an administrative case.

Recall that in the Belgorod region in October, cases of African swine fever were recorded. Presumably, infected animals could have been brought to the region from the Novgorod region.
