In Bashkiria, unsafe beef from Paraguay was withdrawn from circulation. This is reported by the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR in the republic.

According to the department, at the end of February, the Rosselkhoznadzor received information that dangerous beef from the Paraguayan enterprise DIGNA SA was imported into the region. Studies have shown that the product samples contain the antibiotic Oxytetracycline, which does not meet safety requirements and poses a threat to human life and HEALTH.

During the inspection, it turned out that on February 11, the product was sent to the Russian MEAT Company LLC (St. Petersburg), and on February 15, meat in the amount of 997 kg arrived at the Ufa enterprise Belaya Ptitsa LLC.

February 28 Rosselkhoznadzor employeesand veterinary departments went to the warehouse of the enterprise. They found that the company had already managed to sell 215 kg of unsafe beef. Another 782 kg of products were stored in the warehouse. The remains were seized and sent for disposal.

Currently, the issue of bringing Belaya Ptitsa LLC to administrative responsibility under the article “Violation by the manufacturer, contractor, seller of the requirements of technical regulations” (part 2 of article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) is being resolved.
