In 2021, the Kursk agro-industrial complex significantly increased the export of meat products and grain

According to the administration of the Kursk region, in 2021, the volume of exports of agricultural products from the region increased by 33%, the press service of the Agropromkomplektatsiya Group reported.

At the moment, the products of Kursk manufacturers are supplied to more than 50 countries around the world. The largest share of exports of food products falls on Belarus, Latvia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Poland, Kazakhstan, CHINA . Within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", the region supplies grain, oil and fat, MEAT and dairy, as well as finished food products.

At the end of 2021, the volume of exports of agricultural products amounted to about $273.4 million, which is 33% more than in 2020. Last year, grain exports showed a serious growth - Kursk producers of this agricultural product doubled the volume of international supplies. EXPORT of meat products increased by 59%.

One of the major exporters of the region is the Kursk Meat Processing Plant, which is located in the village of. Linets of the Zheleznogorsk district and is part of the Agropromkomplektatsiya Group of Companies. The meat processing flagship is working on a systematic increase in production volumes, expanding the range of export products and the list of importing countries. For example, in the fall of 2021, the sale of technical fat to the EU countries began.

In total, the enterprises of the group of companies sell 25 types of products abroad, including frozen pork offal, raw meat products and semi-finished products under the APK Trading Company brand. Among the importers are the countries of the EAEU, Southeast and Central Asia, Africa.
