Successes of the dairy and meat farm "Green meadow" in the Izhemsky district

Currently, the dairy farm contains 172 heads of cattle , including 90 cows. The farm independently reproduces the herd, purchasing seeds of high-yielding breeds such as Ayrshire, Holstein and Jersey. "Green Meadow" is the only enterprise in the region implementing the zootechnical program "Selex" and the first to introduce artificial insemination, which contributed to significant success in production.

In 2022, the enterprise produced 575.8 tons of MILK and 13.1 tons of MEAT, and in 2023 - 588.1 tons of milk and 16 tons of meat. These high results were made possible by the introduction of new technologies for feeding and keeping animals, as well as strict adherence to labor discipline. In 2022, the Zeleny Lug dairy farm received a grant for the implementation of the Rural Tourism Development project, which is being successfully implemented.

At the HEAD of OOO MF "Zeleny Lug" is the experienced manager Ida Filippova, who has devoted 40 years of her life to the agricultural industry of the Izhemsky district. At present, she independently deals with zootechnical issues on the farm, striving to improve her professional level and develop the farm.
