“For us, this is a great pride and a big plus. The new status also implies the corresponding responsibilities: evaluation of young sires, control milking, and others. All breeding activities are important for selecting the best animals and getting offspring from them. Research data will be used both by the enterprise itself and by government agencies in order to develop the industry. At the same time, the new status will not entail changes in the current workflows of the Urazmetyevo dairy complex,” says Natalia Kozlova, Deputy General DIRECTOR for Livestock of August-Agro Management Company.
MTC "Urazmetyevo" will be the supplier of breeding heifers for the second stage of the MTF "Yaltau" (for 600 dairy cows) and the future complex "Ulyankovo" for 3,400 dairy cows in the Kaibitsky district, the construction of which is carried out by the holding "August-Agro". The breeding status will allow significant savings at the stage of launching new farms, since the purchase of animals is a significant part of the costs. The new agricultural season of the Innagro project, a program aimed at the biologization of agricultural production, has started in the republic. The project was initiated in 2020 by the Innopraktika non-state development institute. Tatarstan joined it in 2021.
In 2023, in the republic, experiments with preparations for the protection of crops will be held at the sites of more than 20 enterprises in the territories of Nurlatsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Laishevsky, Arsky, Alekseevsky, Aksubaevsky, Spassky, Buinsky and other districts. It is planned to test biological plant protection products and growth stimulants on wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, beets, potatoes, rapeseed, soybeans, cabbage and carrots. According to the results of previous tests in Tatarstan, the use of biological products provided an increase in grain yield of about 9-10% while reducing the pesticide load by 30%. At the same time, the additional economic efficiency of grain production amounted to more than 1,000 rubles per hectare.
Kazan Fat Plant increased the production of bottled sunflower oil by 7%, sweet product group by 42%, rapeseed oil by 478%. Compared to 2021, the sales volumes of these products also increased – by 2, 43 and 358%, respectively.
The productivity of the dairy herd in Tatarstan has increased. Over the past day, agricultural organizations and farms of the republic produced more than 4,557 tons of MILK, which is 465 tons more than a year earlier. The most significant increase in the volume (273%) of dairy production was achieved by the livestock breeders of the Menzelinsky district.
The average milk yield per feed cow in the Republic of Tatarstan is more than 21 kg, which is 2.2 kg higher than the level of the same period in 2022. The most highly productive livestock in PMK LLC (Sabinsky district) - 38.3 kg, Mir LLC (Yelabuzhsky) - 34.1 kg, Tatarstan agricultural firm (Vysokogorsky) - 32 kg, in the SHPK im. Vakhitov (Kukmorsky) - 31.8 kg and in Severnaya Niva Tatarstan LLC (Bugulminsky) - 31.1 kg. At the same time, a number of farms receive less than 10 kg of milk per day. So, the milk yield of one cow in the farm "Bariev" (Rybno-Slobodsky district) is 9.9 kg per day, in LLC "Agro-Osnova" (Novosheshminsky) - 9 kg, in the SHP "Lutfullin Z.R." (Arsky, Vysokogorsky districts) - 6.3 kg.
