Since the beginning of the year, the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Oryol and Kursk regions has received 607 applications for approval of animal transport routes from the Oryol and Kursk regions to other regions.

Based on the results of consideration of applications, routes for the transportation of more than 3.9 million heads of user and slaughter pigs, more than 511 thousand heads of poultry, 59 thousand heads of cattle, 119 heads of horses and 9.1 million pieces of incubation eggs were agreed. The animals were transported to 30 subjects of the Russian Federation: Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Vologda, Ivanovo, Orenburg, Smolensk, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Tambov, Tula regions, as well as to the Republic of Tatarstan and others.

In addition, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor considered 5 applications for the approval of routes for the transportation of exotic animals and birds, as well as animals used for cultural and entertainment purposes.

Based on the results of consideration of 44 applications, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration issued refusals to agree on animal transportation routes due to the lack of necessary data on the sender/recipient of sent animals or due to the unfavorable territory through which the transportation route should pass.

The coordination of animal transportation routes is carried out taking into account regionalization and the obligatory fulfillment by economic entities of a number of conditions aimed at preventing the spread of contagious animal diseases, including those common to humans and animals.
