In the Novomalyklinsky district, veterinarians are investigating the mass death of poultry on a farm.
On the night of November 13-14, on the territory of a farm in the Novomalyklinsky district, a mass death of poultry occurred in the poultry house.
An estimated 22,000 broiler chickens at 27 days of age died.
Veterinarians promptly selected pathological material and food samples for laboratory research by specialists from the Simbirsk Reference Center for Veterinary Medicine and Food Safety. Bird flu has already been ruled out in the laboratory.
The reasons for the mass death of the bird are being established. Presumably, the incident occurred due to a malfunction in the ventilation system. As a result, the bird died from asphyxia.
