The team of researchers, consisting of the HEAD of the department Nikolai Petrovich Buryakov, senior lecturer Dmitry Evgenievich Aleshin and student Ivan Aniskina, has already carried out preparatory work. They studied the technology of keeping young breeding animals, the features of keeping lactating cows without tying and their feeding. They also studied the process of producing grain molasses using domestic technology and an innovative method of neutralizing manure using European technology.

Together with representatives of the JSC – General DIRECTOR Sergei Maratovich Goryachev and Head of the Livestock Complex Andrei Alekseevich Matsok – Timiryazevka scientists developed a plan for conducting research using coriander processing products on different age and sex groups of animals.

Scientists are convinced that the inclusion of grain molasses in the diets of lactating cows is the most effective, economically sound and technologically acceptable way to rationalize the sugar-protein ratio and eliminate SUGAR deficiency in cattle diets , which is a common problem in all Russian farms.

- The average sugar deficit in the industry reaches 40%, reaching 70% in some farms. Thus, grain is involved in deeper processing through animals, and after enzymatic hydromechanical treatment, the digestibility of nutrients contained in the grain increases. The proposed biotechnological processing of all types of grain - wheat, rye, barley, triticale and grain mixtures allows obtaining feed molasses by enzymatic hydrolysis of starches under hydrodynamic effects. Feed molasses contain from 10 to 16% of easily digestible carbohydrates: glucose and maltose, while preserving all biologically active components of the grain, - noted D.E. Aleshin.

According to the scientists' proposals, the animal diet at the Vasilyevskoye breeding farm will be adjusted. After conducting the necessary observations, the researchers will evaluate the effectiveness of the changes made.
