The quarantine regime due to African swine fever (ASF) has once again been introduced in the Stavropol Territory. This time, the virus affecting animals was found in the Shpakovsky municipal district.

Restrictive measures were introduced on November 8 on the territory of the district by a decree and. about. Governor of Stavropol Andrey Khlopyanov. According to the document, this measure was taken due to the detection of biological waste infected with the African swine fever virus in a farm building at one of the livestock breeding points located near the Grushevoy Nizhny farm.

According to the text of the document, until the complete elimination of the infection and the threat of its spread, the livestock point will be in a kind of isolation. it is forbidden to enter and exit vehicles, except for cars of the relevant services, the EXPORT of any products, including feed, and the passage of people into the territory, except for personnel and employees of the veterinary service.
