May contracts rose 1.525 cents to 79.65 cents a pound. June - rose 1.6 cents to 91.7 cents per pound. June futures, the most active contract, rose 6.5% last week. At the same time, June contracts fell sharply on Monday, negating Friday's gains. The price was lower at the open, reaching a high at 91.425 and then moving to a low at 88.95.

American pork exports are gaining momentum in the global market. If it continues to rise, it will help pork prices rise slightly, but producers need domestic consumer demand to support prices.
