Average broiler prices in the US market as of June 25, 2021 showed a mixed trend. The average cost of broilers in May 2021 was 105.41 cents/lb (+3.9% mom), with total sales of around 42,676 thousand pounds (+3% mom).

In regional markets, prices for poultry in all categories fell, with the largest decline in prices for birds weighing 3.51 pounds or more (-3.15 cents).   

Chicken exports are up 2.1% year-to-date to 1.2 million metric tons, driven by increased shipments to CHINA , Angola, the Philippines and Cuba.
