Citizens involved in the development of personal subsidiary farms (PSP) and registered as self-employed will have access to state support. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
it is clarified that the document amends the state program for the development of agriculture and the regulation of the markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food, which is supplemented by a separate priority sub-sector - the development of personal subsidiary plots. Self-employed household plot owners applying the PIT regime (professional income tax) will be able to receive subsidies from the state from 2022.
“The decision taken will support the self-employed who develop personal subsidiary farms, will help increase the production of vegetables, MILK and MEAT, and therefore saturate the Russian market with domestic products,” TASS quotes materials from the Cabinet of Ministers.
