The Southern Interregional Department of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR reports numerous facts of the production of products hazardous to the consumer at the MEAT processing plant of the Azovchane company (TM Azov Sausages) in the Dzhankoy region of Crimea. Violations were identified during unscheduled inspections and in the analysis of data from the FSIS "Mercury".
Since the beginning of 2020, during laboratory examination of samples of sausages and semi-finished meat products produced by Azovchane LLC, residual amounts of tetracycline antibiotics have been detected six times in a subordinate laboratory.
During an unscheduled inspection conducted by Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors last year, it turned out that raw materials of unknown origin were used in production. After it, 19.9 tons of meat and finished products were withdrawn from the warehouses and disposed of without stamps, veterinary accompanying documents and markings reflecting the release date and expiration date.
For two and a half years, nine protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up against Azovchane LLC, five declarations of product compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union were revoked from the company, 11 orders were issued to its management to eliminate the identified violations. The total amount of fines for this period amounted to 1.7 million rubles.
The claims of Rosselkhoznadzor became the basis for initiating COURT cases. In particular, in 2020, the arbitration court ruled to fine Azovchane LLC under part 3 of article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation by 835 thousand rubles, and in 2021 - by 12 thousand rubles under part 1 of article 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The management of the company challenged the decision in the Supreme Court. In May 2022, he confirmed the legality of the punishment, but the defendant's lawyers filed a new appeal.
Since July 5, the inspection organized by the Rosselkhoznadzor together with the Dzhankoy district prosecutor's office has continued at the production of Azovchane LLC. In addition, the department appealed to the regional veterinary department with a request to ensure the safety of its products.
