Rising food prices in Russia: analysis of changes over the week, month and year (data as of November 11, 2024)

Among the products that have increased in price over the past week, fresh cucumbers (+8.2%), tomatoes (+5.9%) and potatoes (+4.4%) stand out. At the same time, the price reduction over the week affected black tea (-0.01%) and chicken MEAT (-0.1%).

Fresh cucumbers (+21.6%) and potatoes (+15.6%) also showed a characteristic price increase over the month. The only products that became cheaper over this period were chicken meat (-0.8%) and apples (-1.8%).

If we look at the annual period, potatoes have increased in price by 83.4%, and the most noticeable price decrease occurred for granulated SUGAR (-2.0%) and chicken meat (-7.7%).
