RUSSIA has big plans to EXPORT to the Algerian market. In addition to grain, dairy products and chilled cattle MEAT, Russian producers are ready to supply canned food and sausages, lamb, goat meat, meat by-products, poultry meat, edible chicken eggs and its products, as well as fish products.

At the meeting of representatives of the competent departments of the two countries, it was emphasized that the Russian side is waiting for the approval of the necessary documents for the import of the specified range of products. ROSSELKHOZNADZOR is ready, under its own guarantees, to organize the corresponding export and is waiting for the decision of the Algerian side.

Rosselkhoznadzor also requested from foreign colleagues all the current requirements for the export of poultry and beef, and related products from them.

Algeria has more modest requests: the companies of this country are interested in exporting wool and leather of large and small cattle.

The growth of mutual deliveries can be helped by an agreement on cooperation between the two countries in the field of veterinary medicine, which is planned to be signed between the countries.
