RUSSIA is increasing the volume of poultry MEAT exports from year to year, and 2022 was no exception - Russia supplied 377 thousand tons of this product to foreign markets, said Vladimir Fisinin, President of the Russian Poultry Union (Rosptitsesoyuz), speaking at a conference of veterinarians from ROSSELKHOZNADZOR . In total, poultry meat exports increased by 23.7% this year, the expert said.

CHINA has significantly increased the import of Russian poultry , the expert noted, and the composition of imports has also changed. So, according to the expert, now China buys not only chicken feet and other offal, which have always been in great demand in China than in Russia, but also whole poultry carcasses or their quarters. According to the Agroexport center, China accounted for 40% of all Russian poultry exports, while this volume increased by 11% compared to 2021.

Experts noted that in 2021, the supply of poultry to China was difficult due to CORONAVIRUS restrictions - Chinese customs rules set strict requirements for products, manufacturers could not always cope with them, in addition, testing required additional resources.

By 2030, experts predict a two-fold increase in poultry exports in Russia - over 600 thousand tons per year.
