Rosselkhoznadzor returned 22 tons of veterinary drugs to China

A batch of veterinary drugs from CHINA with a total volume of more than 22 tons was suspended at the Russian state border in the seaport of Vladivostok, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Administration for Primorsky Krai and the Sakhalin Region reported.

The department explained that they tried to import veterinary drugs into RUSSIA in violation of the uniform veterinary and sanitary requirements.

“The cargo must be returned to China,” the supervisory service said in a statement.

Based on the current legislation of the Russian Federation, officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for Primorsky Krai and the Sakhalin Region decided to return the batch of veterinary drugs to the exporting country.
