The Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Ryazan and Tambov regions brought to administrative responsibility JSC "Trading House" Perekrestok "in Ryazan, the press service of the department reported on Friday.
In December 2021, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Ryazan stores of the Perekrestok shopping mall, during which samples of pork and chicken semi-finished products were taken. Based on the results of laboratory studies at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory", it was revealed that the products manufactured and sold in three supermarkets of the network did not meet the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
"In the semi-finished products, an excess of the number of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms was found, which indicated that the organization did not comply with sanitary standards and rules during their production, storage and sale," the press service notes.
In connection with the creation of a threat of causing harm to the life and HEALTH of citizens, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor in relation to JSC Trading House Perekrestok initiated an administrative offense case under part 2 of article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
By the decision of the Arbitration COURT of the Ryazan Region dated March 9, 2022, the company was found guilty of committing this offense and held liable in the form of a fine in the amount of 150 thousand rubles.
