ROSSELKHOZNADZOR allows the supply of hatching eggs and day-old chicks from three UK farms. This is stated in the message of the department.

Rosselkhoznadzor, based on the analysis of materials received from the UK veterinary service, decided to resume deliveries of hatching eggs and day-old chicks to RUSSIA from three UK poultry farms located in areas free of avian influenza from August 4, 2021.

Previously, the agency allowed the import of hatching eggs and day-old chicks from 34 UK factories.

Restrictions on the import of poultry products and live poultry into Russia were introduced on November 27, 2020 due to the worsening epizootic situation with highly pathogenic avian influenza in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
