Oleg Lityaykin, an expert at the Russian Agricultural Bank Center, noted that poultry MEAT farming is one of the key sub-sectors of livestock farming in RUSSIA. Over the past 15 years, production volumes have doubled, reaching 7.2 million tons in 2024. Poultry meat consumption has also increased, amounting to 36.4 kg per person per year - this is 44% of the total meat consumption in the country. The main contribution to the industry is made by broiler production, followed byturkey , for which Russia already ranks first in Europe and second in the world. There is also an increase in the production of geese, ducks and quails. According to Rosselkhozbank, by 2030, poultry production could reach 8.7 million tons, which is 1.5 million tons more than the current level.
