For 9 months of 2021, more than 92 thousand samples of MEAT and meat products were examined for sanitary-chemical, microbiological, parasitological and physico-chemical indicators.

According to the content of chemical pollutants (toxic elements, benzpyrene, nitrosamines and others), the share of samples of meat products that do not meet hygienic standards amounted to 0.12% (for 9 months of 2020 - 0.50%).

The share of samples of meat products that do not meet hygienic standards in terms of microbiological indicators (the content of bacteria of E. coli groups, pathogenic microorganisms, etc.) for 9 months of 2021 amounted to 3.57%, which is lower than the same indicator for 9 months of 2020 (3, 62%).

According to physical and chemical indicators, including those characterizing the quality of products (indicators of nutritional value, mass fraction of solids, SALT content, etc.), for 9 months of 2021, 2.52% of product samples did not meet the stated requirements (for 9 months of 2020 - 2.70%).

According to parasitological indicators, for 9 months of 2021, 0.11% of product samples did not meet the stated requirements (for 9 months of 2020 -0.24%).

The share of meat products that do not meet hygiene requirements for the content of antibiotics for 9 months of 2021 amounted to 0.33%, which is lower than the same indicator for 9 months of 2020 (0.69%).

Rospotrebnadzor specialists, in accordance with the issued orders to stop sales and orders for disposal or destruction, removed 45.5 tons of meat and meat products from circulation (for 9 months of 2020 - 26.7 tons).
