Pskov Meat Processing Plant stops production from December 1

Pskovmyasoprom LLC informed partners, customers and consumers of the termination of shipment of products under the Pskov MEAT Processing Plant brand from December 1, 2021.

The Pskov Meat Processing Plant, founded in 1893, produced 180 types of meat products from its own raw materials. At the moment, the top management of the enterprise considers it impossible to continue production. The decision is related to the spread of covid-19 , the lack of government support, the rise in the price of essential food ingredients, the continuous increase in the costs of utilities, energy supply, and logistics.

As a result, the enterprise is deprived of the opportunity to supply products to the market at competitive prices and cover production costs, Pskovmyasoprom LLC said in a statement. Andrey Shukshin, General DIRECTOR of the company, thanked partners and customers for fruitful cooperation over the years.
