Meat production on the Don increased by 29% in January-June 2022.

In the Rostov region, MEAT production continues to grow in the first half of 2022. This follows from the data provided by Rostovstat.

According to the territorial body of state statistics, in January-June of this year, 179.5 tons of livestock and poultry were produced, which is 29.3% higher than last year's level. The largest volumes on the Don account for poultry meat - 43.1%, beef is 31.4% of the total mass, pork - 20%, lamb - 5.1%, other types of livestock - 0.4%.

Recall that a month earlier, the positive dynamics was higher - in January-May, growth reached 32.5%.

As Governor Vasily Golubev noted earlier, in the Rostov Region, support for agricultural producers in 2022 will reach 7.9 billion rubles, 5.5 billion of which will come from the regional budget.
