Primorye will produce more than 75 thousand tons of pork meat per year

During a meeting with Vadim Moshkovich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the RusAgro group of companies, the Governor of Primorsky Krai said that the implementation of the investment project of RusAgro-Primorye LLC continues in the region.

Recall that the investment project of RusAgro-Primorye LLC is one of the main projects of the Mikhailovsky ASEZ - the implementation of the project of the agro-industrial complex for the production of pork.

This project started several years ago. But due to the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, there were some difficulties, which the specialists of the TOP coped with. the project provides for the production of pork with a capacity of 75 thousand tons per year.

Vadim Moshkovich said that the main production facilities, and these are several pig farms, a feed mill, a breeding farm, are 93-99% ready. Some of the objects are already working. The company employs more than 600 people. The total investment is more than 43 billion rubles.

The governor assured that it will be the largest complex in Eastern Siberia and the Far East, which will produce up to 75,000 tons of MEAT per year.

It should be noted that support and implementation of various projects and events in the field of agriculture is carried out as part of the implementation of the state program "Development of Agriculture in Primorsky Krai" for 2020-2027.
