The US government has published a list of critical infrastructure objects against which cyberattacks are unacceptable. This was told to reporters by a representative of the US administration after the meeting between Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin, held in Geneva on Wednesday, June 16.
The list includes 16 positions - individual objects and entire sectors of the economy, which should be declared a no-go area for hackers. Among them are agricultural production and the food industry.
The main theme of the meeting between the presidents of the United States and RUSSIA is defined as strategic arms control and the continuation of bilateral dialogue to prevent nuclear war. The parties agreed to return their ambassadors to Moscow and Washington. According to Vladimir Putin, during the talks he did not feel hostility: the meeting was specific and substantive.
One of the recent reasons for discussing the activities of hacker groups was the attack on JBS servers , due to which the assets of the Brazilian corporation in the usa, Australia and CANADA were paralyzed. The FBI has determined that the perpetrators are linked to Russia. After the restoration of production, JBS paid out $11 million in bitcoins to the criminal group "to mitigate unforeseen consequences."
