Farm near Moscow with happy animals won the National Organic Competition

“Environmentally friendly products are becoming more and more popular with customers. The geography of the competition covered 49 regions and 300 participants, which is twice as many as last year. The Moscow Region was represented by two producers, one of which, Farm M2, took gold in the nomination “Assortment of Organic Products,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Organic farming M2 is located on the banks of the Ruza reservoir. On the territory of more than 4 thousand hectares, dairy and MEAT products, chicken eggs are produced. grow vegetables and fruits.

In addition, the farm has a greenery growing shop, where various grains and legumes are grown. The farm also makes bread according to author's recipes: some types undergo many hours of fermentation, are prepared without yeast, according to old recipes and in a hearth oven, health-improving bread from germinated biograin is being prepared for release. The farm's brewery is the first in RUSSIA to brew organic beer.

The quality of products is checked at all stages of production - each workshop has its own laboratory.

Organic MILK on the farm comes from "happy" cows, goats and sheep.

“Thanks to gentle pasteurization and instant cooling, all vitamins and microelements are preserved in it. The protein content in our milk is 3.45%, and the average for the geographical area is 2.7%. The range includes milk for a variety of tastes. For people on a diet - low in fat. For those who like more nutritious foods - milk with a fat content of 3.2 - 4%. For gourmets - baked milk with a traditional caramel flavor, and for allergy sufferers and connoisseurs of special products - goat's and sheep's milk. Freedom of care, organic food, combs - we do everything to make the animals happy, ”explains on the farm’s website.

The selection of the "People's Organic Brand" was held on the website of Roskachestvo from March 10 to April 11, and the winner was determined by direct consumer voting. More than 70 thousand people cast their votes, which is 4.5 times more than last year.

The second national organic competition was held under the auspices of the Federation Council, together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Roskachestvo, with the support of the Organika Fund, to develop the organic products market and form habits for a healthy lifestyle of citizens of the country.

The winners will be awarded on May 25, 2023 as part of the X Nevsky International Ecological Congress in St. Petersburg .
