A producer of dumplings from Kavalerovo faces a fine for releasing unsafe products into circulation.
On November 24, 2021, the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Region considered the case against IP Artemenko K.V. upon the release of unsafe products into circulation.
During an unscheduled inspection conducted by officials of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the city of Arsenyev in August 2021, samples were taken from one of the stores from Vkusnye dumplings, which are produced by the individual entrepreneur Artemenko K.V. from the village of Kavalerovo, the department noted.
The sample was submitted for research to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Primorsk Interregional Veterinary Laboratory" subordinated to Rosselkhoznadzor.
According to the test protocol, based on the results of laboratory studies, inconsistencies in microbiological parameters were found in the product sample - bacteria of the genus Salmonella. This violates the requirements of the technical regulations "On Food Safety", "On the Safety of MEAT and Meat Products".
Salmonella is well preserved in meat for up to a year and is able to actively multiply in it, while not changing the appearance of the product. Freezing food does not affect the viability of bacteria.
Such laboratory findings may indicate a violation of the rules and technological modes of manufacture, terms and temperature conditions of storage, as well as non-compliance with the necessary sanitary standards at the enterprise.
The Federal Law "On the Quality and Safety of Food Products" prohibits the circulation of products that can have a harmful effect on humans.
On the fact of the revealed violation against the individual entrepreneur, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor initiated administrative proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 14.43 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The case of an administrative offense was considered on November 24, 2021. For violation of the requirements of technical regulations, the manufacturer faces an administrative fine in the amount of 20,000 rubles.
