A significant increase in sheep farming in the Zabaikalsky Krai is expected in the spring of 2025

The Minister of Agriculture of Zabaikalsky Krai, Denis Bochkarev, reported that 1.9 thousand breeding rams and 101 thousand sheep have been prepared for the mating season. 320 breeding flocks have been formed in the region, and to date 6.5 thousand ewes have already been inseminated, of which 2.2 thousand were inseminated by artificial insemination.
