The funds were received from the federal and regional budgets as part of the implementation of the state program "Development of agriculture in the Stavropol Territory".
“Already this year we plan to increase the volume of meat and dairy products production. Currently, we have 17 agricultural organizations, 58 peasant farms and more than 25,000 personal subsidiary farms engaged in livestock production,” said Nikolai Bondarenko, HEAD of the Piedmont Okrug.
To date, local livestock breeders pay special attention to the wintering of livestock, which will last until May. For this period, 50 thousand tons of coarse and 33 thousand tons of succulent feed were prepared. The Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov has repeatedly spoken about the importance of supporting this industry.
