I.S. Sagin: the crisis period gave a new impetus to the development of the poultry farm.

Due to the outbreak of bird flu in 2020, the work of CJSC Buiskaya Poultry Farm was suspended for almost a year, and the bird population was disposed of. This spring, the company returned to the previous production volumes.

The management decided not only to restore the poultry farm, but also to expand production and find new directions for development. In 2021, the company entered into an investment project aimed at the comprehensive modernization of the poultry farm.

“The investment project for the integrated development of the enterprise is designed until 2026,” said I.S. Sagin. - In addition to the main field of activity, vegetable growing will also develop, which will make it possible to obtain additional profit. The products of the Buyskaya Poultry Farm go to schools and kindergartens in the Buysky district. We plan to supply it to social institutions in Buya, Buysky district and Kostroma, where our products are already known, and it is widely represented in the city's retail chains. There are wholesale buyers in Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, orders go to Moscow as well.

Participation in the project will increase the level of social development of the Buisky district by creating new jobs.”

CJSC “Poultry Farm “Buiskaya” develops in two directions. In addition to the main one - the production of chicken eggs, the implementation of a new direction - vegetable growing begins. The enterprise will lease a land plot near the village of Ugolskoye, where potatoes, carrots and beets will be planted. First, the land must be put into circulation, because the fields have not been used for crops for many years. A project for land reclamation will be ordered. In autumn, the cleared field will be plowed, and in the spring of 2023, vegetables and potatoes will be planted there.
