On June 3, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021), an Agreement of Intent for Cooperation was signed between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and MEAT Union of Bashkir Producers LLC. The document was signed by Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov and General DIRECTOR of the Meat Union of Bashkir Producers Oleg Avlasevich.

- According to the results of 2020, the Republic became the Russian leader in beef production - 174.7 thousand tons, - Andrey Nazarov said. - In total, 427 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter were produced in the republic, which is 105.9% compared to the level of 2019. At the same time, we are faced with the task of increasing meat production to 500 thousand tons by 2024 through the implementation of new investment projects. One of these is the creation of a cattle fattening complex. We plan to implement it within the framework of the agricultural holding being created, which includes the Meleuzovsky Meat Processing Plant and the Meat Union of Bashkir Producers.

Meleuzovsky Meat Processing Plant is an enterprise for slaughtering and producing chilled and frozen beef meat, semi-finished products and offal. Its capacities allow to produce up to 6 thousand tons of meat and 2.1 thousand tons of offal. In order to provide the plant with its own raw materials, it was decided to build a feedlot with a total number of cattle for 20 thousand heads, including 3,000 heads at the first stage, by the Meat Union of Bashkir Producers.

The investor has already invested 200 million rubles in the creation of a livestock farm in the Kuyurgazinsky district of the republic for the Meleuz Meat Processing Plant. He directed the funds for the repair of the acquired sites, the purchase of cattle, agricultural machinery and the construction of a new grain warehouse. Today, the holding's livestock is 1.9 thousand HEAD of cattle. By 2023, the company plans to increase it to 5 thousand heads. For this, the construction of feedlots is planned in 2021 and 2022. In total, at the first stage, it is planned to invest 433.5 million rubles in the project.

At the second stage, the investor intends to build a livestock complex for breeding and fattening meat cattle in the Fedorovsky district. To do this, LLC Agroholding Bashkir Limousine was registered in the municipality. 15 thousand heads will be kept here. Investments at this stage are estimated at 1.23 billion rubles.

As a result, 1.67 billion rubles will be invested in the implementation of the two stages of the project. It is planned to create 130 jobs. Thus, the number of cattle in the company will grow to 20 thousand heads. The new holding will be able to close up to half of the demand for raw materials of Meleuzovsky Meat Processing Plant.

“Despite the good volumes of beef production in the republic, we still do not have enough good quality meat obtained from cattle of meat breeds,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. - The new investment project of the Meat Union of Bashkir Producers will allow us to make serious progress in solving this problem.
