The MEAT processing plant in Zavitinsk, Amur Region, is a new enterprise that has already begun to expand its supply geography. The governor of the Amur region, Vasily Orlov, recommended increasing the supply of products from this plant to social institutions in the region.

In 2021, individual entrepreneur Svetlana Tarasova launched a modular complex for slaughter and primary processing of meat products thanks to a subsidy from the municipality. She received 30 million rubles of state support for the implementation of this project. The plant carries out a full technological cycle: from slaughter to the production of semi-finished products and delicacies.

The premises of the plant, occupying an area of more than 200 square meters, are equipped with the necessary equipment. The enterprise's capacity allows it to process 5 pigs and 5 cows per shift. Currently, the plant operates two lines: for the production of semi-finished meat products and sausages.

Last year, the plant produced about 6 thousand kilograms of meat products, and in the first quarter of this year it already produced more than 2 thousand kilograms. The products are supplied to stores in the Zavitinsky district, as well as to retail outlets in the Oktyabrsky district. In addition, part of the products is supplied to local preschool institutions.

Governor Vasily Orlov noted that the new workshop for slaughter and processing of meat products is a modern enterprise with a high technical level, producing high-quality products and providing jobs for people. He emphasized the importance of supporting such enterprises, and expressed the desire that all social institutions in the region prefer local products.
