"Recently, the service's approach has seriously changed, first of all, the level of control over the quality of imported food, breeding herd, seeds, and chemicals has increased," the Prime Minister noted. "There must be control at the border so that we have a reliable barrier, a lock, including in the person of the veterinary and phytosanitary service," the HEAD of the cabinet of ministers said. He explained that "it is necessary to prevent low-quality products, pests, diseases, dangerous animals or plants from entering the domestic market."

Mishustin also drew attention to compliance with all safety standards by domestic manufacturers. "It is extremely important that the increase in agricultural production occurs due to a favorable and stable phytosanitary situation, ensuring biological and food safety," he said.

At the same time, the prime minister set the task of reducing administrative pressure, stressing that "now it is necessary, first of all, to support domestic producers," to simplify all procedures that may prevent them from producing high-quality and safe products. According to him, one should continue to engage in digital transformation, "automation of processes - routine, inconvenient, which should help a person <...> know the way how to protect their products, and in case of import, do everything necessary that the state requires of him, for quality products."

Mishustin considers it extremely important to reduce administrative pressure on business , especially in the context of anti-Russian sanctions. "Of course, all procedures must be consistent, understandable, with an interface that can be adjusted depending on the complexity of the task in the difficult conditions of sanctions pressure," he believes.

"Our country has the status of a reliable supplier and exporter. The fact that it has become easier for companies to fill out documents in the event of EXPORT, meet all requirements and receive certificates is a significant achievement that we see today in export figures," the head of the Cabinet summed up .
