According to the new rules, which will enter into force on 13 March 2024 , the registration of veterinary products and related procedures will be able to be carried out in accordance with the legislation of each Member State of the Union until 31 December 2027. During this transitional period, applicants will be able to use both the new and previously approved national fees.

The explanatory note to the bill specifies that Article 333.32.1 of the Tax Code will be supplemented with new state fees, the amounts of which vary from 11 thousand rubles for making changes to the registration dossier to 461 thousand rubles for conducting an examination for the registration of a veterinary drug . The donor of information for the formation of these amounts was the accounting data of state expenses accumulated in 2022. The expert institution carrying out the registration is the All-Russian State Center for the Quality and Standardization of Animal Medicines and Feed (FGBU "VGNKI").
