Recall that at the end of November last year, a law was adopted in RUSSIA, which is aimed at reviving industrial pharmacies, including veterinary ones. Now the Ministry of Agriculture has developed rules for the production of veterinary drugs for such pharmacies.

As stated in the rules, veterinary pharmacies that have a license for pharmaceutical activities with the right to produce veterinary drugs will be able to produce medicines for animals.

Veterinary pharmacies will be able to make medicines only if they have a prescription or a special requirement.

The rules set out the requirements for the premises and equipment of veterinary pharmacies, as well as for the manufacture of medicines for animals.

“In the manufacture of medicinal products, medicinal products or pharmaceutical substances are used,” the rules state. At the same time, the manufacture of medicines registered in Russia by veterinary pharmacies is not allowed, the document says.

Registered drugs can be used for the manufacture of veterinary drugs, the project explains.

it is noted that in the manufacture of veterinary preparations it is impossible to use drugs for the treatment of infectious and parasitic diseases of animals, the use of which is limited by the law on biosafety (No. 492-FZ).

Also, the rules set out the requirements for sterilization of drugs, packaging and labeling of manufactured drugs.
