The international certificate “ECO-PRODUCT” was obtained for the first time by a Chuvash producer of agricultural products

DQS certificates have worldwide recognition and a guarantee of compliance. The "ECO-PRODUCT" standard is based on the requirements of EU directives and Russian GOST "Organic Products".

The company notes that obtaining the "ECO-PRODUCT" certificate is a big step for the CHUVA Agricultural Holding and confirms the high level of production and compliance with the company's philosophy of producing healthy products.

Deputy Prime MinisterMinister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov emphasized that the production of organic products is a promising direction in the development of agriculture. He recalled that last year a strategy was adopted for the development of organic production in RUSSIA until 2030, which includes the introduction of agricultural technologies without the use of mineral fertilizers and chemicals.

For example, the Chuvash State Agrarian University, together with Roskachestvo, is already preparing documents for the registration of Chuvash hops as organic products in 2024 . The task of the Competence Center "Chuvashia - the center of hop production" is not only to increase planting areas, but also scientific and research work for the development of the industry.

In 2023, 385 Russian certificates were issued in Russia for various types of organic products, which is 123 more than the year before. The number of organic producers in the Russian agro-industrial complex also increased by 18% and reached 177.

According to the Development Strategy for the Production of Organic Products, approved in July 2023, by 2030, organic food exports from Russia should amount to 27.8 billion rubles.
